Individuals and businesses strive to find the most productive and lucrative ways of marketing on the Internet. One such strategy is called CPA marketing, an acronym for cost per action. This is a form of advertising where the cost is linked to an action that is taken from an advertisement. This could be things such as an actual purchase, submission of a form or perhaps an offer for a free eBook. Advertisers love this method because they only pay for ads that produce an action.
Many find this one step up from pay per click advertising where the charge is for each link clicked, but does not necessarily produce any type of action. CPA marketing is accomplished through CPA networks. They act as a type of go-between for businesses and advertisers. The advertiser then pays you, the business or affiliate, each time a customer performs a requested action. The network provides the necessary materials such as email ads, banners and links.
They keep track of the number of actions taken and the affiliate is paid for the period of time in their agreement with the affiliate. The networks also provide affiliate support as they are motivated to help their network succeed. They don’t make money unless their affiliates make money. CPA marketing most often involves submissions of forms that include email and zip code information, trial offers, dating offers, education offers and credit card or credit report offers.
The amount paid for the submission of email and zip code information runs from $1.00 to $3.00. These are very popular because the customer does not have to enter any personal information and feels quite comfortable. A trial offer requires a longer form and customers are usually required to enter their credit card number and possibly have to pay a shipping charge. The pay out on trial offers can range from $30.00 to $140.00. This method is quite successful as customers love the idea of being able to try a product free before they have to commit to buying it. Dating offers have a very successful conversion rate because they tend to be based on emotional choices.
The fees paid for these offers are $2.50 to $5.00. Education submissions payout between $30.00 to $50.00 and the credit card or credit reports will generate from $8.00 to $10.00. These are just a few of the most common types of CPA marketing to illustrate this successful form of marketing. It has proven to be one of the best ways to market a business and generate an income on the Internet.

Affiliate marketing is very popular but the filling up of forms and other CPA means of generating revenue is not as popular yet, I guess. A lead generated anyway would always be entitled for a higher payment that thats what the CPA form of marketing aims to provide. Can you give some names of popular CPA networks and their qualifying criterion?
Here are just a few Clickbooth, Copeac, Epic Direct, and Convert2media. Click on the publisher tab on any of these sites and fill out the form to apply. Usually they will call you and ask you a few questions. As long as you can answer good enough they will approve your application. They usually want to know how long you’ve been doing affiliate marketing, what kind of promotion do you use, and maybe see a few of your blogs or websites.
Hi Eric,
Thanks for those recommendations. I was not aware of these sites earlier. I guess there is nothing wrong in trying this CPA method. Thanks once again for your reply and links, mate.
I agree with your CPA Marketing Tips, excellent post.
